The GE-7 and GEB-7 are actually pretty good pedals right out of the box.
We just make them sound better :)
We use quality metal film capacitors to replace those stock caps in the sound signal. Some are a different value for better tone and less noise. We use high quality/low noise NE5532 op amps as replacements for the stock op amps, just because that is my preference.
The result is a warmer, fuller pedal with more clarity and less noise.
And of course we are going to put in a nice bright blue LED. The “"water clear”" LED is clear when the pedal is off, and a nice noticeable blue when the pedal is on. There is simply no better mod out there for the GE-7 or GEB-7!
